Johannesburg was the place to be this weekend as the SA Grand Open brought together more than 90 teams across five divisions, delivering big rallies, fierce competition and plenty of padel action.
From the 40-team Men’s Open to the Ladies, Challengers and Over 40s divisions, the tournament showcased just how much South African padel is growing – and how deep the local talent pool is becoming.
The finals provided a fitting finale, with Adam and Luan taking the Men’s Open title, while Amaan and Wasim claimed the Men’s Challengers crown.
With packed draws, rising stars and experienced players all battling it out, the SA Grand Open proved that South African padel is getting bigger, stronger and seriously competitive.
